sponges

sponges are from the phylum porifera.
they are living organisms.
excretion:sponges remove waste that their bdy doesnt want by the water that moves in and out of their body.
digestion:sponges digest their food bytakind in food via the water that flows through the pores
Muscular-Skeletal:A sponge is like a tube with many pores or openings the skeleton is made of lime or silicon.

cnidarians

cnidarians are invertebates
digestion and feeding:Cnidarians sting cells to catch food. There is both extracellular and intracellular digestion
movement:cnadarians float around.
excretion:they excrete by diffusion

annelids

analids

body

  • have bilaterally symmetry

  • they are invertebrates, their bodys have cylindrical segments.

disgestion

  • annelids have a mouth and anus.

  • the gut is separated by the ceolom. the coelom has fluid which works as a skeleton

Circulation

  • Blood goes to the head by a contractile vessel above the gut.

  • they have a closed circulation system

  • some annelids have green oxygenated blood

respiration

  • respiration happens through the body wall

  • aquatic annelids have gills

flatworms

flatworms are invertebrates. they have one way digestion system it eats ant it excretes through the same opening its digestion system is all over its body it does not have cell specialization. a flatworm like every organism takes in oxygen. flatworms don't have any skeleton. A flatworm has bilateral symmetry.

vertebrates vs. invertebrates

which species is more succesful?

vs.

vertebrates invertebrates

succesful means the # of species, the amount of biomass, the adaptability to multiply, changes in enviroment.
